Hiya

I haven't posted in a while so here I am! Anywho, things are coming along for me. I finished my boyfriends mini comic today and am almost done with my mandala piece. I finally found a way that works for the leaves in my last watercolor so that is finished. Things that are missing in the mandala are the details on the shadow creatures eyes and some background detail, it has changed a lot from the beginning sketch and I feel it's much better the way it is now. So once I take pictures of that and my watercolor I'll post them. I hope everyones summers are going great and Sydney says hi to everybody. I'll post again soon, but for now bye bye. ^^

By the way we're saying I love you to each other. Hahaha, we decided to code it into robot talk to freak out anyone who happened to be around us. I hope you all enjoy it!

Hiya! Good to see you again. It sounds as though you've been working, I thought you had company.... LOL - I'm not complaining though.
The comic is so sweet. I totally got the message right away. The robot language is fun. My 2 sons had their own language when they were small. It's just a cool thing.
I'm looking forward to seeing your watercolor... that one has me curious because you were so unsure about the color for so long.
The other sounds interesting too. I always like it when things change a lot during production. It means you are thinking and analyzing and that's exciting! When that happens, the final product is usually better than the original plan.
I'll watch for the postings. :)

Well, my friend draws too so we'll have periods of just sitting around and working. ^^
Hmm, well at this point I really don't like the watercolor anymore. The colors got switched to green because the red hues made the tree look like it was on fire. Then there was the issue of finding out how to paint the leaves, for some reason that took a LONG time. I don't know what, but I just feel like it's missing something.
The alchemy picture went much faster. It's turned into a mixture of watercolor, acrylic, and marker. I don't know how that combination happened, but yeah it's looking pretty god so far. ^^;
I'm hoping to get pictures of the two this week so you'll be able too see them and give me critiques on what I could add or take away.

Ok! I'm looking forward to that too. You sure have been busy! It's nice to have someone to work with while doing your art who understands.
And don't stress about the watercolor. IT IS WHAT IT IS!
It might be a "study" for a later, greater piece!
