I got tired of watercoloring so I decided to take a break for a while and do a quick comic of my character.
Hah, my friend and I went to Circuit City the other day to look at the amps. He was getting really into it and all I could really concentrate on was the giant red demo button.
Anyway, this is my first mini comic in a series of random happenings that go on in my life.
I hope you all like it! =3

I LOVE this! It's so cute! And its very expressive. And, very true - who can actually keep their hands off the demo button???!!!
Hey, I thought of you today. I was at Michael's lol. They have their manga pads on sale.
For me, I was attracted to the sale paintbrushes. I got 5. :-O
It'd also be fun to base some of your characters on some of the kids in class. That would probably give you an unending supply of storylines. It's cool that you have something like that. It allows you to fire off some fun, successful stuff as a break. Gotta love THAT!
Yeah it helps that all the comics will be based off real life situations. I have to rename everyone though, which is the hardest part for me. ^^;
OHH did you get the paintbrushes with the squishy grips on them!? I bought those and I'm sure they were on sale. I love the squishy grips.
Yes! Two of the five had squishy grips..gotta love those!
I bet the names really are difficult. I'd have trouble with that too if I were naming people. But it will be fun watching all the adventures they will have.
I dont usually have trouble naming my work though.
Speaking of people, did you notice we have one more? That new baby in the family kind of slowed things down for her recently. (She's probably trying to catch up on her sleep!) But she said she does have some work started. So that's good. Let's hope people start jumping on this week. *fingers crossed*
I hope so. I recently talked to WorkBig and I know she's starting soon. Hopefully I'll be able to work this hard during the year.
Speaking of new supplies do would you know where I could get a 24 pack of crayola watercolors? I'm saving for Grumbacher-Deluxe set, but I need a larger set that is cheap for now.
Right off the top of my head I'd say look on websites of places in town such as Hobby Lobby and Prince's downtown. I know you can order a set from Dick Blick's and Sax's with a credit card number but they'd have to be shipped. Another place to check is Wilson's in Kenwood. If they don't carry them they might be willing to order them for you and then they would be the ones to pay shipping AND they might be able to get them faster! I just think gas is too expensive to drive all over town looking and still coming up empty handed.
And hey! If you are doing this well all on your own, then think what you'll do when we all get together. I'm not worried about you at all. Quite the contrary!
Another hint: as much as you guys all get along so well, think carefully about who you are going to sit with next year. How you "position" yourself can make a huge difference in how well you do. If people question you about your choices, then just be very upfront and say you have made choices based on how you can be most productive. They will respect that.
And another thing: maybe the 3 of you AP kids should think about hanging together. It will be to your advantage to do that. Not to create a distinction but to bouy each other through this strenuous process. That way you are all on the same page and I can give all of you information at the same time that does not apply to the rest of the group. It might seem odd at first but I think from my experience it works well.
Think about it.
trish. i am in love with this :)
i can picture you doin it too. hahah
