hey everyone-
so i started ArtWorks yesterday and its been going great! i'm working on the "TOM" project (The Outdoor Museum). basically it's all about graphic design and we'll be creating lots of(about 18??) images that will be printed as large billboards and displayed in public parks. the theme is "going green", so yesterday we started off by going to the krohn conservatory and sketching the plants. today we collaged with magazines about diff forms of green. we started getting into the basics of design and got to look at our project managers' work. some of the pieces were so amazing, and it was a little overwhelming- especially bc i really have no experience of using the computer for art. it all seemed over my head, but i've already learned a lot so i'm really looking forward to more.

Hey befierce!
That sounds like a great beginning to a really cool experience! Don't be afraid. You're there to learn as well. This will be a good chance for you to get more comfortable with technology. We will be using it more this coming year, so you'll have a head start. I look forward to seeing what is created. How awesome that it will be displayed in such a public place for everyone to see.
Be open. Ask questions. Have confidence. You have a lot to offer the program.

That sounds so awesome! Aww, I wish I could be there with you. Oh and don't be intimidated by the other people you're part of art studio 4! You'll blow them out of the water in no time! Good luck with everything. ^^

haha thanks you guys! and yes, nxt time i feel intimidated i'll just think to myself, "wait a sec, i'm part of art studio four!" :) we can do anythingg. plus, once i do catch on, and the mistery is kinda of taken out of the whole process, im sure it wont be a prob
