this summer I went to a lot of concerts. perhaps more than I've had in the past. this picture is of my best friend and I at the boys like girls/ good charlotte concert, my personal favorite. I feel I get a great deal of my inspiration from the music I listen to. many of the song's lyrics describe my life at this very moment and also my past and all the forks in the road. the past few years I've been trying to find myself and figure out the real me. I feel that over this past summer I realized who I am inside.

That's an incredible thing to be able to say at such a young age. It helps to have at least some idea of who you are so that you can make appropriate choices for yourself.
I hope you can use your art to help us understand the real you even better, if you feel comfortable doing that.
I can't wait to have time to really get to know all of you again. I think a lot happens about this time in your life and I'm sure several of you (if not everybody) are very different than you were when you left.
I know we'll have plenty to talk about this year.
