Why? Well, because whenever I use only watercolor on a piece it turns out much better. Maybe that's a sign that I should just focus on honing my watercolor skills. Ah well who knows. Lets see, what to say about this piece. In all honesty has been one of my favorites to create and the end result is, I think, the best I've gotten out of any of my projects this summer. She's a faery, I think I may name her sometime because I just love her oh so much! Oh and if anyone has any problems with partial nudity don't fully open the image. I wanted the whole forest creature effect so she's wearing little clothing, actually none at all it's just a bunch of strategically placed leaves. Anywho, I hope everyone enjoys her as much as I do. o(^_^)o

You are too funny. She does have a bit less garb than I'd expected... maybe a few more leaves? lol
But seriously, she is lovely. She does have this whole nature feeling about her. The colors help with that as well.

Haha, no problem. Yeah I have been posting a lot lately. I blame it on the pre-school creativity.
Oh and I am proud to announce that I bought my tablet today! She's adorable and her name is Bianca. Haha, I got the Bamboo Fun model by Wacom because of the reviews I've heard and the things I've seen done on it. It's wasn't as expensive as most and she's very small, but she still works just as well as any other tablet.
So now all I have to do is save for a laptop.. which will take forever. ^^;;
Congratulations! I know you are really excited about this. I am curious to see it. I'm happy for you. Yes the laptop will take a bit longer to aquire.
I plan on getting people more comfortable with technology this year. I will also be introducing some new lesson plans. I think we will be using the laptops in the classroom more. We will need to plan ahead for that and get our name on the list.
It's going to be a good year. I hope people will be ready to work. I already have some requests for our help around the school. We should be busy!

Well I had to get new keyboard. Turns out that the keyboard Mac designs and I have longevity problems. lol The keys get sticky for some reason. The last 2 I have had have both done this! :(
So I went to Best Buy to get a replacement and a USB port hub. My new keyboard is awesome. Mac has streamlined the design and it is incredibly thin and made of aluminum. It's a beauty!
Anyway, the reason I mention it is because while I was there I checked out your new "toy". She is cute! No wonder you're excited!
I will be bringing mine in to school to share. I'll have to talk to the tech lady about how she wants that to be handled.
