i finished my 5th piece last week, its pretty good i like it. and now i am on my 6th, it will be done today for sure. (when i am done with the 6th piece i will post them on here together) my next piece i have an idea for but the last one is going to be a happy one. i've been doing them all in pencil but the last one is like a new beginning. its going to be of my step dad and my new family, it represents like starting over and moving on, so i was wondering if i should do that one in color? or stay with the black and white.. because i dont want them to look like they dont go together if i did it in color. sooo any advice mama bbbb??

Could you transition to the element of color slowly? Maybe soft suggestions of color, or color that is focused on something important?
It sounds like a really good path to take.
I think it's nice that the whole thing has a "happy ending".
But I also think you're right to be concerned that it not look like 2 different groups of work.
The slow addition of color, or the color being used softly, or color used to emphasize a specific element, would be a good way to move from one "place" (or idea) to another.
I think it might be good to always keep a bit of the black and white, even until the end... but ONLY if that works! You have good judgement, you can decide that.
I am excited to see these next pieces! I"m sure they will be stunning!
Keep at it Brittney! I have faith in you! I KNOW you can do this!!!!
Thx for logging on. Keep those pencils moving. :-)
